Amherst Trail Alliance

The Amherst Trail Alliance (ATA) is a community-based club focused on supporting Amherst’s trail network through accessibility, community engagement, and responsible recreational use.

ATA will offer annual memberships granting members access to events and informational newsletters. All membership fees will support trail access for residents, consistent with established guidelines and conservation policies, and will help promote walking, biking, jogging, and other appropriate trail uses in Amherst in collaboration with the Amherst Conservation Committee (ACC), Department of Public Works (DPW), and other stakeholders. The alliance will also support conservation efforts and help foster a vibrant community of outdoor enthusiasts, preserving Amherst’s natural beauty and contributing to a healthy, connected community for all.
