TRAVIS WARREN, PRESIDENT

Travis grew up in Amherst, attending Amherst Middle School and Milford Area Senior High before graduating from Proctor Academy in 1991. In 1998, he and his wife Rene returned to Amherst, where they raised their four children. Travis has been actively involved in the community through the Amherst Patriots and Amherst Lacrosse Club, and previously served on the Recreation Commission. In 2012, he led the effort to establish the Amherst Community Foundation to support projects that enhance the town’s quality of life.

JEFF THOMPSON, vice president

Jeff has lived in Amherst village since 2015 with his wife Sarah and their two children. He has been an active volunteer through the Amherst Recreation Department as well as local skiing and biking organizations. Professionally, Jeff serves as a Program Director at Draper Laboratory, a nonprofit engineering research organization based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He brings a strong commitment to community engagement and civic involvement.

RICK KATZENBERG, secretary

Rick lived in Amherst from 1982 to 2025, where he and his wife Susan raised their two children. He has been deeply involved in the community, serving on the Souhegan High School Board, as Town Treasurer, and as coach of the Souhegan girls tennis team. Rick was named Amherst Citizen of the Year in 2025 and has contributed his leadership to numerous nonprofit boards throughout his career.

DAN VEILLEUX, treasurer

Dan is a resident of Amherst and a three-term member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough District 34. He currently serves as Ranking Member of the House Transportation Committee. Dan holds a Master of Public Administration and has professional experience in public sector finance, economic development, and private sector accounting and operations management. He is committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen the Amherst community and enhance quality of life for its residents.

TRENT BLALOCK, DIRECTOR  

Trent has been a resident of Amherst since 2014, where he lives with his wife and their two children. He has been actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Greater Nashua, and currently SHARE Outreach. Professionally, Trent is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, bringing experience in strategic planning and community engagement. He is committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen Amherst and enhance quality of life for its residents.
